The gameplay is very interesting, I liked the upgrade tree, the only downside is that I would add a button on the keyboard that starts the next day so that I don't have to use the mouse

thanks for your feedback - we are planning on adding a hotkey to start the next day for the full version

webbuild. The longer I play, the more stuttering happens in gameplay. A problem with Godot?

It might be a problem from playing directly on the browser - we will look into it

Suggestion: Increase the maximum spirit gain from 3~4 to 6–8 per complete run, or reduce the spirit cost of the later upgrades. was having too much coins in comparison.

More variety for piñata types: a bouncing piñata that can ricochet to others and cause damage, a teleporting piñata, and a piñata that drains your time when attacked from the front( encouraging attacks from behind)

Provide additional active skills for the player character, such as holding a button and releasing it for a charged attack, or using a magnet to attract all nearby piñatas.

thanks for your feedback

I don't usually like more active games like this but this is an absolute treat. Would you all be able/willing to mention the month or quarter the full version is likely to release? Just so I don't forget to pick it up on steam.

oh that's so lovely to hear, thank you! we're planning on releasing this summer, hopefully august but we will post here and on steam when it's confirmed

Love it!! Nice graphics, and so far it's a pretty fun gameplay loop! I am having to take frequent breaks for my computer to cool off but that's not uncommon, my computer is old as rocks lol, but what I've managed to play so far seems really good :D

Though I do have an issue where I seem to be unable to scroll on the hub? I can see lines indicating there's more upgrades off-screen, but all I can do is zoom out, and only to an extent. Being able to click & drag or use wasd/arrow keys to scroll would be very useful! :3

Also I have to say the meatball toy caught me off guard- I was expecting it to be a plastic cookie or something. I am both intrigued and disturbed by the reality.

Edit: Occasionally toys land outside of the room box. I've never had one go further than I can reach, so it hasn't been an issue, but it might be best to block them from going outside just in case!

Edit 2: Just finished the demo, super fun game :D I'd make a couple of tweaks, ordering the toys in the pinatapedia by value, and making room numbers bigger with stronger contrast to make them easier to see at a glance. Both super minor things though! Really enjoyed this :3

thanks for your feedback - you can scroll in  the hub by right clicking. We will ensure the full version has a note of this as we've seen a few people miss it as well. We're really happy you enjoyed it, thanks so much!

awesome game.

9/10

thank you :)

Lots of fun so far. My one gripe is that having 11 drop types on the demo floor puts you juuuust shy of getting a second soul from the “toy collector” +1 soul per 6 different toys upgrade. Feels a tad cruel!

we're glad you enjoyed it - the full version will have more upgrades for red currency so hopefully this won't affect so much

I really enjoyed this game, but I had one small gripe with it - some of the multi-level upgrades were a bit unclear in how they got better with each level, since the text doesn't show an increase. The main culprit for me was Twilight Power; I'm not sure if levels 2 and 3 upgraded how much power you gain, how much time you have the increase, both, something else...

thanks for your feedback - we're working on getting this implemented for the full version

I def will buy when released, congrats

thanks we're very glad you enjoyed it!

Transition between game and hub takes a long time, is that intentional or just loading time?

(1 edit)

there seems to be extra loading times between screens for the web version, but we will see what we can do

It takes me like 1.5 or 2 seconds max, maybe your computer is dying

Will the full game be paid? i had a lot of fun with the demo but i'm a stingy bastard so I'm curious lol (also the wishlist button in game doesn't work! the description link does though)

we're glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for letting us know, we will look into it! yes, it will be paid, but we're planning on setting a low price :)

fun game, but you should add a way to exit back to hub during a run

thanks for your feedback!

I've lot to say on bad games, but you know exactly what you're doing, the game is great, wishilisted. :)

Thanks so much for your kind words!

Small glitch: if you finished the final room as the clock hits zero, it appears to count all of your candy twice because both game over conditions have been met.

I accidentally did this also and I'm pretty sure it's a strictly visual bug because it said I earned around 900 that run and my next few runs were also about 900.

Thanks for letting us know, we will take a look!

Really glad you enjoyed it!
